Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IRANDOC) became member of World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations (WAITRO).
Founded under the auspices of the United Nations system and consultative status of its various specialized agencies, WAITRO provides a wide range of services that underline R&D capacities and facilitate the transfer of technologies around the globe. For our members and partners, we create incentives and integrated approaches to start collaborations that respond to the complexity of the transformation necessary for sustainable development. From opening WAITRO’s Open Innovation Hub, providing its services to companies, start-ups and organizations, participating in programs, co-hosting and co-organizing events, we are committed to provide opportunities for our members and partners.
Beforehand, only Iran Scientific and Industrial Researches Organization was the only Iranian member of this association, but now IRANDOC is another member of WAITRO. Regarding its missions, WAITRO provides its members with opportunities of international ventures and research grants.
