In the fifth day of 32nd International Tehran Book Fair, on April 28, a meeting was held in the Tehran Book Fair venue in which Mohsen Javadi, President of 32nd International Tehran Book Fair, Ghader Ashena, vice president of 32nd International Tehran Book Fair, and Abdolvahb al-Razi, president of Iraq book fair. In this meeting a MOU was signed for exchanging booths in Iran and Iraq book fairs. In this meeting, Al-Razi pointed to the potentials one may find in the cooperation between the two countries and stated his hopes that holding such fairs would increase and enhance interactions
and connections on the fields of printing and publishing and translating works of authors of Iran and Iraq. While stating his pleasure for having president of Iraq book fair in Iran and said that this book fair can pave the way for increasing communications and relations between the young authors of Iran and Iraq. It is worthy to say that Tehran International Book Fair is held every year since 1987 during late April in Tehran. This year, the 32nd International Tehran Book Fair, with the motto of “Reading is Power” was one of the greatest cultural events in Iran. More than 3400 Iranian and foreign publishers were attended in the book fair in a space roughly 30000 sq-m inc the Imam Khomeini Mosalla from 24 April to 4 May.
