An exhibition of contemporary Czech illustrators entitled “The Heart of Europe” was held at the House of Iranian Artists in Tehran during the month of July 2018. The pieces presented at the exhibition included works by several generations of Czech visual arts illustrators and laureates of best illustration awards such as the Hans Christian Andersen Prize, the Bratislava Prizes, and the Bologna Book Award. The exhibition had been organized jointly by the Czech Branch of the International Book Office for the Younger Generation, Czech Illustration Society, and the Iranian Illustration Society.
