The Allameh Tabatabaei Library, in cooperation with the Cultural Center of Kaar and Ta’avon (Work and Cooperation), has launched a special program under the title of “Peyk-e Ketab” (Book Courier) to promote awareness-raising and reading culture among the child laborers. Under the Program and with the explicit objective of institutionalizing reading habit, children and adolescent books are lent to child laborers.
Moreover, recently a story-telling event was organized by the Program to familiarize child laborers, in a more attractive fashion, with the facilities and services offered by libraries.
