The scientific association of “Enhancing Iran’s Public Libraries” was formed with an interdisciplinary approach to serve the goals of furtherance and enhancing of specialized
knowledge of public libraries, qualitative development of specialists and improving educational and research affairs of this field. For this, the first general assembly of this association was convened with the participation of professors, board of founders, specialists and librarians of Iran public libraries on July 18th.
An election was held in compliance with the articles of association of the Association the result of which was verified by the representative of Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology .
