The Central Library and the Documents Center of the Shahid Beheshti University has joined the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), have been assigned the membership number IR-1024. According to Mohsen Haji Zainolabedini, Director of the Shahid Beheshti University Central Library: “Joining IFLA will facilitate and assist presentation of Iran’s libraries at the international level, promote international awareness of our academic libraries, and help enhance international cooperation.
” This membership, valid until the end of 2019, allows the University Library to have free access to SAGE platform and journals as well as to IFLA paperback publications.
