President Hassan Rouhani recently appointed, for a four-year term, the new Board of Trustees of Iran’s Public Libraries. The members are as follows: Dr. Mehri Parirokh, Dr. Fatemeh Fahimnia, Mr. Houshang Moradi Kermani, Dr. Mohsen Javadi, and Mr. Alireza Mokhtarpour Ghahroudi. The new Board also includes two female lecturers; Dr. Parirokh, Professor of Library and Information Science at Ferdowsi University (Mashhad) and Dr. Fahimnia, Professor of Library and Information Science at Tehran University.
