On the 14th anniversary of the establishment of national bodies for public libraries, arrangements were made across the country (in various cities) for a week-long visit to public libraries by students, employees, officials, and general public. Public libraries offered a host of special packages for introducing – and promoting – public library services. In the course of one of the events in a village public library in Kermanshah Province – in Western Iran – a girl and a boy held their wedding ceremony in the library.
